CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

CHEESY GARLIC BREAD

  • 2 cups cake flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons yeast (7.5 ml)
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons of melted butter
  • ½ cup of milk
  • 1 egg
  • Topping of choice:
  • garlic butter, salt, pepper, grated cheese and any other desired topping like green onion / oregano / parsley / mixed herbs etc.

Sift dry ingredients into a bowl and set aside.
Warm milk and add melted butter and egg and whisk all together until fluffy.
Add the wet and dry ingredients and knead into a soft dough adding more flour if necessary.
Leave to rise for 2 hours.
Press down on a baking tray with your hands until in resembles a large pizza.
Coat the top with garlic butter, salt, pepper, grated cheese and any other desired topping like green onion / oregano / parsley / mixed herbs etc.
Bake at 190ºC for 20 minutes.
