BUTTERNUT CHAKALAKA WITH GREEN BEANS AND CARROTS

A quick and easy dish, serve as a side or as a salad. Enjoy! 🥕

  • 250 g green beans, top and tail, cut in half
  • 3 large carrots, cut into julienne strips
  • 410 ml can of chakalaka with butternut
  • ½ red and green pepper, cut into strips and optional
  • oil for frying
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • salt and pepper

Steam green beans and carrots until just done, do it separately as time differs. Keep aside.
Fry onion and peppers in a little oil until tender.
Combine all ingredients in a serving dish, warm for 3 minutes in micro oven, if served warm as a side dish or refrigerate, if served as a salad.
