BOXING DAY LEFT-OVERS WREATH
- Puff pastry (I cheat and buy a roll) cut into triangles
- Any left over Christmas food
(I used turkey, gammon and lamb, roast potatoes diced, carrots diced, parsnips diced, pigs in blankets cut smaller, Brussels sprouts diced and even a bit of cauliflower cheese cut smaller – all mixed with a little left over gravy – just to bind it slightly) - 1 egg for eggwash
On a prepared baking tray, form a ring with your pastry triangles with the pointy bit to the outside.
Scoop mix onto the ring and fold the pointy pastry over, see photo 2.
Brush with mixed egg and bake for 40 minutes at 185ºC.
Note:
Enjoy with a bit of sweet mustard sauce on the side.
