BEST HOMEMADE APPLESAUCE
- 4 apples, peeled, cored and chopped
- ¾ cup of water
- ¼ cup of sugar
- ½ teaspoon of cinnamon
Add all the ingredients to a pot and bring to the boil.
Allow to simmer for 15 minutes or until the apples are soft, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and allow to cool. Roughly mash the apples in the pot with a fork.
Place the apple sauce in a sieve and allow any excess water to drain.
Serve together with your favourite pork roast.
