BEEF AND VEGGIE STIR FRY WITH PASTA

  • 500 g beef strips
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon pepper
  • ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • ½ bell pepper, chopped
  • 1 tomato, chopped
  • 1 carrot, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 300 ml water
  • 80 ml soya sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Maizena
  • 300 g pasta, cooked

Heat oil in a large frying pan and fry beef strips until brown. Season. Remove from pan and set aside.
Heat remaining oil and fry veggies until soft. Return meat to pan.
Mix the Maizena with the soya sauce and water and add to pan. Cook until sauce has thickened.
Add cooked pasta and heat through.

Optional:
Add shredded cabbage, sugar snap peas and green beans.
