BANANA CREMORA KITKE BREAD

I just baked bread for the first time ever!!!!!!!!

  • 350 g cake flour or bread flour
  • 30 g icing sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Cremora
  • 1 large banana
  • 1 whole egg
  • 70 ml milk
  • ½ a tablespoon instant yeast
  • 40 g butter

Mix sifted flour, sugar, salt, Cremora and yeast.
Mash banana finely and add to dry ingredients.
Mix egg with milk and add to dry ingredients.
Add the butter.
Mix and turn out onto a floured surface and knead until smooth.
Place in a lightly oiled bowl, and cover with plastic wrap and allow to rise for an hour (I covered mine with a blanket)
Divide dough into 2.
Roll out dough into a triangle and roll up like a Swiss roll.
Cut rolled up dough into equal pieces and place in a bread pan that has been greased with melted butter.
Let it rise for another hour, also covering with plastic wrap and blanket.
Bake at 180ºC for about 20 minutes.
Remove from oven and grease with melted butter.
