CHEESE STEAK POUTINE
Recipe and photo: Jennifer Oakley
This is so good!! If I use choose curds instead of regular cheese ( the last time I made it) my kiddo’s will even eat it minus the onion!
Quantities depends on the amount of portions you want to serve.
- fries (homemade or frozen)
- onions
- green pepper
- cheese
- flank steak (any cut will do)
- premade packet of gravy
- salt
- pepper
- garlic
- steak seasoning
- Prepare the fries (I make homemade but any work!) season with some steak seasoning.
- Sautéed onions and green pepper, season with salt, pepper and garlic.
- Cheese (the most important part
I like mine with cheese curds but regular cheese makes it cheaper!) - Cook or fry flank steak to taste (or any cut) and sliced super thin.
- Gravy – you can make your own, I just use a premade packet and add a little worchestershire sauce!
- Assemble – start with fries and stack the rest on top, with the hot sauce lastly, to melt the cheese a little.
- Super filling and only takes about 20 minutes to make.
