VLEISLAND SE HEUNING EN MOSTERD GEGLASEERDE KERRIEHOENDER

  • 2 lekker groot hoender “Leg Quarters”
  • 1 teelepel growwe swart peper
  • 1 teelepel olyf en roosmaryn speserye
  • 1 teelepel groen uie speserye
  • 1 ½ teelepel Masala
  • 2 eetlepels balsamiese asyn
  • 4 – 6 kerrie blare of 2 lourierblare
  • SOUS:
  • 1 eetlepel tuisgemaakte Engelse mosterd
  • 1 eetlepel heuning

Smeer die hoender in met die asyn en speserye, en kook in die drukpot vir 15 minute.
Haal uit die pot uit, en smeer die heuning en mosterd sous oor.
Bak of rooster (grill) in die sous vir nog 10 – 15 minute tot lekker bruin en geniet saam met ‘n slaaitjie.

VLEISLAND SE HONEY AND MUSTARD GLAZED CURRY CHICKEN

  • 2 large chicken leg quarters
  • 1 teaspoon coarse black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon olive and rosemary spice
  • 1 teaspoon green onion spice
  • 1 ½ teaspoon Masala
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 4 – 6 curry leaves or bay leaves
  • SAUCE:
  • 1 tablespoon homemade English mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey

Rub the chicken with the vinegar and spices and cook in pressure cooker for 15 minutes.
Remove from the pot and rub it with the honey and mustard sauce.
Bake / Grill in that sauce for another 10 – 15 minutes till well browned.
Enjoy with a salad.
