SWISS ROLL WITH SPOTS
- 4 eggs
- ½ cup of sugar
- ½ cup of cake flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat the eggs and sugar very well till light and fluffy. Add the other ingredients and mix.
Line a baking sheet with baking paper and spoon the mixture into the baking sheet.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for seven minutes.
Sprinkle sugar onto a damp dish towel.
Tip swiss roll out onto the dish towel and remove paper.
Spread with jam, chocolate spread, caramel or any other filling of your choice.
Roll up with the aid of the cloth. Work quickly, so that you can roll the cake while hot.
For this one, I coloured a little of the batter in different colours and made the little blobs.
I baked the blobs for a minute before adding the rest of the batter.
