STOOFPEREN IN SLOWCOOKER / STEWED PEARS IN SLOW COOKER
- 1.5 kg schoongemaakt stoofperen / 1.5 kg pears, peeled and cored
- sap van 1 citroen / juice of 1 lemon
- 300 g suiker / 300 g sugar
- 3 dl water / 300 ml water
- 3 dl sap / 300 ml fruit juice of your choice (I used mixed berry juice)
- 2 kaneel stokjes / 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1 laulierblad / 1 bay leaf
Warm het water en de suiker tot het suiker is opgelost.
Doe alles in de slowcooker en 5½ uur op low.
Als je van hele zachte houd anders iets korter.
Add the water and sugar into the slowcooker and heat until the sugar has dissolved.
Add the rest of the ingredients to the water and sugar mixture in the slow cooker and cook on low for 5 ½ hours.
Bottle in sterilized jars and seal immediatly.
Note:
If you like the pears with a little crunch, cook it for a shorter time.
