STICKY PORK RASHERS IN THE AIR FRYER
- 500 g pork belly rashers, about 8 mm thick
- salt and pepper
- Sauce:
- 30 ml soy sauce
- 30 ml sweet chilli sauce
- 30 ml honey
- 15 ml Canola oil
- 1 clove garlic, crushed
- 5 ml fresh ginger, grated
- 1 chilli, chopped, optional
Use a sharp knife or scissors cut slits into the skin and fat on each rasher. Season with salt and pepper.
Preheat the air fryer to 190°C. Place the rashers into the basket in a single layer.
Cook for 20 minutes. Turn halfway through the cooking time.
Mix the sauce ingredients together until well combined.
Brush some of the sauce onto one side of the rashers. Cook for a further 5 minutes.
Turn and coat with more sauce. Cook for 5 more minutes until beginning to char.
Remove and serve on a bed of rice with cucumber salad or stir-fried veg.
Spoon remaining sauce over the rashers.
