SKYFIES IN DIE LUGBRAAIER (AIR FRYER)

Hoe maak mens skyfies (chips) in die lugbraaier dat dit lekker krakerig is asb?

AIR FRYER CHIPS

Tonight’s version of my 2020 post. Behave as if you are on holiday! Wishful thinking!

Peel your potatoes and cut into chips.
Par-boil until you can nearly poke through with a knife.
Drain.
Transfer to your air fryer.
Spray with olive oil spray.
Season with vegetable spice.
Air fry on 185 – 190°C for 5 minutes.
Toss and fry for another 3 – 4 minutes or until crispy and brown.
If preferred, season with more salt if required.
Enjoy with lots of salt and vinegar!

Liezl Louw
Sny jou chips, spoel af met water en bedek liggies met bietjie “cooking” olyfolie.
Sit ‘n enkellaag (of minstens nie te veel op mekaar) chips in die AF, en sit op 200°C vir so 20 min.
Skud mandjie so 2 keer tydens proses.

Amanda Conradie
Voorverhit die AF op 160ºC.
As dit vars aartappel chips is, laat lê eers in koue water vir 30 min.
Droog goed af, bedek liggies met 1 eetlepel olie.
Bak vir 16 min. Skud bietjie daarna en bak dan op 180ºC vir nog 12 min.
Vir gevriesde aartappel dieselfde tyd maar moenie in die water laat lê of olie oorsit nie.
