SAVOURY MUFFINS
Ek het nie die meel gesif nie en dit het lekker uitgekom.
- 2 cups self raising flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 250 ml milk
- 1 tablespoon oil
- Additions:
- 1 small chopped onion
- little bit of garlic, mustard powder, smoked paprika and herbs
- 1 cup cheese grated
- bacon, ham, russian or corn
Pre-heat oven to 180°C.
Sift flour into mixing bowl.
Add salt plus extra additions.
Mix egg, oil and milk in separate jug and pour into flour mixture. Do not over mix!
Place mixture evenly into greased or lined muffin tin.
Bake for 23 minutes or until skewer comes out clean.
Enjoy hot out of the oven with lashings of butter or at room temperature.
