ROSHAN’S DOUGHNUTS
- 5 cups cake flour
- 1 packet yeast
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 4 – 5 teaspoons sugar
- pinch salt
- 2 eggs
- blob of butter
- 1 cup lukewarm milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Sift all dry ingredients. Now melt butter, add eggs, milk and vanilla.
Add to dry ingredients. Mix through lightly, add lukewarm water if needed, mix must be light.
Allow to rise till double in size.
Punch down make in shapes and deep fry.
Decorate as desired, with coconut, cream or icing.
