RHUBARB SAUCE
(Rabarberkräm)
I got this recipe from my neighbor here in Finland. My father in law loves this. I am very happy that he approved my effort.
- 5 stems of rhubarb (or more if you only have short stems)
- ½ liter water
- 100 ml sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 100 ml raisins
- Extra:
- ¾ liter water
- 4 tablespoons potato flour/corn starch
Cut up the rhubarb and boil all the ingredients together for 10 minutes.
Add the water and potato flour/corn starch to the mixture and boil until preferred consistency.
Serve with ice cream, porridge etc. or eat it just like that.
