I got this recipe from my neighbor here in Finland. My father in law loves this. I am very happy that he approved my effort.

  • 5 stems of rhubarb (or more if you only have short stems)
  • ½ liter water
  • 100 ml sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 100 ml raisins
  • Extra:
  • ¾ liter water
  • 4 tablespoons potato flour/corn starch

Cut up the rhubarb and boil all the ingredients together for 10 minutes.
Add the water and potato flour/corn starch to the mixture and boil until preferred consistency.
Serve with ice cream, porridge etc. or eat it just like that.
