PUFF PASTRY CROUTONS
Ek het vanaand hierdie puff pastry croutons gemaak. Dit is voorwaar ‘n wenner. Ek het dit saam met hoenderslaai bedien. Ek het die raad van Meyer Combrinck gevolg en roosmaryn by die botter gevoeg.
(These make a decorative presentation served sprinkled over soups, such as Cream of Garlic Soup with Root Vegetables, or sprinkled over a salad. These are so good, they make a great snack too! Use desired amounts. I put 8 servings, but this will vary according to how much pastry is used.)
- 1 puff pastry sheet
- ¼ cup melted butter (more or less)
- sesame seeds (black or regular)
Cut small squares out of desired amount of pastry sheets.
Brush with melted butter, and sprinkle with black sesame or regular sesame seeds.
Bake in a preheated oven at 200ºC oven for 15 minutes until golden.
Float in soup, sprinkle over a salad, or eat out of hand as a snack!
