PROVENCAL PORK STEAKS IN THE SLOW COOKER
- 500 g of pork steaks
- 2 onions
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 large winter carrot
- 250 g of chestnut mushrooms
- 2 stalks of celery
- 1 beef stock cube
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- pepper and salt
Cut the pork into cubes and season with pepper.
Chop the onions and press the garlic.
Wash the winter carrot and cut it into cubes.
Brush the mushrooms clean and cut them into slices.
Finally, cut the celery into slices.
Place all ingredients in the slow cooker.
Add 250 ml of water, stir and set the slow cooker to LOW for 5 hours.
f you want, you can then thicken the stew with corn starch.
