PORK RIB BASTING AND GLAZE FOR AIR FRYER
Recipe and photo: Lee Ann Ferrue
Adjust quantities to taste. A 2:2:1:1 ratio of BBQ sauce, ketchup, soy sauce, and honey is a great starting baseline.
- pre-cooked ribs
- ketchup
- barbecue sauce
- soy sauce
- honey
- Warm the Glaze:
- Combine the ketchup, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir occasionally until the sauce is smooth, warm, and well combined.
- First Coat and Air fry:
- Generously brush the sauce over all sides of the ribs until fully coated.
- Air fry the ribs using your preferred time and temperature settings for your cut. I put them in the airfryer for between 15 to 18 mins basically just to grill them and get the colour at 200ºC because they are pre-cooked.
- Finish and Serve:
- Once the ribs are fully cooked, transfer them directly into the saucepan with the remaining glaze. Toss until thoroughly coated and glossy, then serve immediately.
