PORK BELLY KEBABS
Lyk my dit is regtig my week vir vark vleis… hierdie was heerlik!!
En ja, vanaand eet ons weer vark.
- 2 tablespoon of wholegrain mustard
- 2 tablespoon of honey
- 1 tablespoon cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
- 500 g pork belly, cubed and thread onto skewers
Preheat the oven to 180°C or gas mark 4.
Season meat with freshly ground salt and pepper.
Whisk together the ingredients for the marinade and spoon over the kebabs.
Cover ovenproof dish with tin foil, add kebabs and seal with foil.
Bake in the oven for 1 hour, basting after 30 minutes.
Open foil after 1 hour and bake uncovered for another 30 minutes.
Keep basting and turning kebabs until browned on all sides.
