PORK BELLY IN THE AIRFRYER
- ± 1.5 kg smoked pork belly
- bicarbonate of soda
- 340 ml Savanna “Jean” or any apple cider
- 1 onion, sliced thickly
Wipe the pork belly with a paper towel and score the top section with a sharp knife.
Rub the belly with bicarbonate of soda to increase the crispiness.
Remove the inner tray of the airfryer and pour the cider into the drawer.
Place the slices of onion inside the drawer with cider and place the pork belly on top of the onion.
Place the drawer back into the fryer and set to airfry at 200ºC for 40 minutes.
