PLUM SCONES
- 400 g of cake flour
- 200 g of 18% cream
- 200 g of butter
- 3 tablespoons of caster sugar
- plum stew
- caster sugar for sprinkling
Heat the oven to 180°C. Cover a baking sheet with some baking paper.
Make the dough with the flour, cream, butter and caster sugar. Cover with some plastic wrap and leave in the fridge for an hour. Cut the dough into smaller pieces, roll it out and cut it into triangles. Put a teaspoon of the plum stew on every piece.
Fold and join the scones starting from the wider edges. Arrange the scones on the baking paper and bake for 20 – 25 minutes. Sprinkle with the caster sugar after they have cooled down.
