PIZZA DOUGH WITH CHICKEN FILLING

- Base:
- 3 cups cake flour
- ½ packet yeast
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup warm milk
- 3 tablespoons oil
- Filling:
- tomato paste/puree
- diced green peppers
- onions
- tomato
- sliced mushrooms
- fried chopped chicken fillets
- gouda and mozzarella cheese
- Mixed dry ingredients together then added milk and oil to bind. The dough was stiff and I left it to raise for 2 hours.
- Then rolled out the dough on a floury surface and placed in buttered oven pan then into the preheated 220ºC oven for literally 2 minutes.
- Then I added tomato paste/puree to the base, diced green peppers, onions and tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, chopped up and fried chicken fillets.
- Added gouda and mozzarella cheese and some Italian herbs on top.
- Placed it in the oven for 10 minutes.
- I made 2 pizzas. The other 1 I used the chicken a la king dry cook in sauce and add the onion and green pepper with the chicken in there and put it on top of the tomato paste.
- Then half of that pizza I put a little mayonnaise on top after the chicken a la king topping. Then added the cheeses on top.
- The half with mayo tasted like Debonairs pizza but with a soft light base!
