PIZZA DOUGH WITH CHICKEN FILLING

  • Base:
  • 3 cups cakeflour
  • ½ packet yeast
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • Filling:
  • tomato paste/puree
  • diced green peppers
  • onions
  • tomato
  • sliced mushrooms
  • fried chopped chicken fillets
  • gouda and mozzarella cheese

Mixed dry ingredients together then added milk and oil to bind. The dough was stiff and I left it to raise for 2 hours.
Then rolled out the dough on a floury surface and placed in buttered oven pan then into the preheated 220ºC oven for literally 2 minutes.
Then I added tomato paste/puree to the base, diced green peppers, onions and tomatoes, sliced mushrooms, chopped up and fried chicken fillets.
Added gouda and mozzarella cheese and  some Italian herbs on top.
Placed it in the oven for 10 minutes.

I made 2 pizzas. The other 1 I used the chicken a la king dry cook in sauce and add the onion and green pepper with the chicken in there and put it on top of the tomato paste.
Then half of that pizza I put a little mayonnaise on top after the chicken a la king topping. Then added the cheeses on top.

The half with mayo tasted like Debonairs pizza but with a soft light base!
