PERFECT SPICY ROAST CHICKEN
Dinner time!! Chicken baked to perfection!!!!
I’m sure you could season your chicken breasts with just salt and pepper and they would still come out fine, but this blend of spices will take your baked chicken to the next level.
- chicken, any cut of your choice
- ¼ cup cake flour
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar, helps to tenderize the chicken
- 1 teaspoon chilli powder – adds a delicious smoky flavor, plus gives great coloring to chicken
- parsley or thyme, just a little bit about 2 generous pinches
- salt to taste
- pepper to state
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
Preheat the oven 180 °C.
Combine the flour, sugar and spices together and rub generously into the chicken breast and drizzle some olive oil over before baking.
Start your chicken at a high temperature in the oven. Cooking at a high temperature will help to lock in those juices, resulting in tender, juicy chicken every time.
Cook for 35 – 45 minutes depending on the thickness of the chicken.
Let chicken breasts rest for 5 minutes before serving.
