Enige low carber se droom. Ek het gister lamsbene in die oond gebak. Moes maar ‘n paar aartappels bysit vir manlief. Daai bene het nog baie vleis aan. Baie vet ook. Heerlik! Blinkbek.

  • 1 kg free range lamb bones
  • fresh rosemary, as much as you wish to sprinkle
  • thyme, as much as you wish to sprinkle
  • marjoram, as much as you wish to sprinkle
  • cumin, to taste
  • cloves, to taste
  • pink salt, to taste
  • 1 yellow onion
  • potatoes, optional

Preheat oven to 150°C.
Slice onion and scatter on bottom of pan.
Season bones with all the herbs and spices.
Roast slowly on 150°C for about hour and a half.
Check if meat is tender or continue if needed.
Add potatoes halfway if preferred.
