MAURICIA’S PIZZA DOUGH

Homemade pizza dough. Ridiculously easy to make with minimal effort. Simply add your favourite toppings.

  • 375 ml (1½ cups) self-raising flour
  • 160 ml (⅔ cup) cold water
  • 15 ml (1 tablespoon) olive oil
  • pinch of salt

Pre-heat the oven to 180°C.
Sift the flour into a large mixing bowl and add the salt. Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the water and olive oil. Mix the ingredients and knead to form a soft and smooth dough with a stretchy consistency.
Divide the dough into 2 equal parts. On a lightly floured surface roll out each piece of dough into a circular shape, or your desired shape. Gently transfer the dough onto ovenproof trays. Now add pizza sauce and toppings of choice.
Bake for about 15 – 20 minutes until the crust is crispy and lightly browned.
Serve warm.
