LAMP CHOPS IN THE SLOW COOKER

A slow cooker meal that tastes delicious.

  • 6 – 8 lamb neck chops
  • 4 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons sugar
  • 4 tablespoons white wine vinegar
  • ¼ teaspoon nutmeg
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • 6 tablespoons hot water
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons Beurre Manie*

Brown the chops in a pan.
Drain on kitchen towel and place in slow cooker.
Mix all other ingredients together till smooth (except for beurre manie)
Add to slow cooker pot, put on lid and Cook on high for 4 hours or Low for 8 – 10 hours.

Thirty minutes before it’s done, add the Beurre Manie. (*equal parts flour and butter mixed to a paste and dropped into the pot in smaller amounts)
