KHEER SWEET WARM DESSERT

  • 1 litre full cream milk
  • ½ cup of basmati rice, soaked in water
  • ¼ cup of sago, soaked for an hour then microwaved for 3 minutes
  • ¼ cup of vermicelli
  • 1 teaspoon cardamom powder
  • 125 g of butter
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of Nestle cream
Cook basmati rice with 1 ½ cups of water until soft. Cook in a big pot because no straining of rice required.

Add the vermicelli and sago once the rice is cooked and continue to cook for 10 minutes.
Add the rest of the ingredients and leave on lowest temperature setting on your stove top to cook for around 3 hours until everything is creamy and smooth.

Note:
Keep on stirring every few minutes.
Absolutely delicious.
