JENNIFER’S MUSHROOMS SAUCE FOR STEAK
Mushroom sauce for 3 rump steaks.
- 1 large onion, diced
- cloves garlic, finely grated
- 2 punnets mushrooms, sliced
- 200 ml double cream
- ½ tub of Philadelphia full cream soft cheese
- salt and pepper
Fry the onion in a little butter and add the garlic and mushroom.
Add the double cream, stirring all the time.
Add the full cream soft cheese, season with salt and pepper and coat steak.
The veggies – I cooked them lightly in salt water. They were still crisp.
Like to have a very slight crunch in my fresh veggies. They mustn’t be overcooked.
