  • 500 g beef ribs, chopped in small pieces
  • 5 large onions, sliced
  • salt and pepper
  • 2 slices of breakfast cake or bread of choice
  • 4 bay leaves
  • 6 cloves
  • 1 tablespoon of apple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon of vinegar
  • water

Season the meat.
Fry the meat until brown, add the onions and fry for a while, deglaze with water until it is covered. Add the breakfast cake in small pieces.
Add the bay leaf, apple syrup and vinegar and let it simmer very slowly for about 3 hours.
