My ma het altyd dit gemaak met Moedersdag, dis baie lekker en steeds ‘n gunsteling in ons huis. My man het vars guavas gekry, dit is skaars hier in Saudi Arabia, dit bring baie heimwee en verlange…

  • 6 guavas
  • 2 packets strawberry or cherry jelly
  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 250 ml whipping cream
  • Flake / Kitkat chocolate
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 packet Tennis biscuits

Place Tennis biscuits next to one another in rows in your tart bowl.
Peel guavas and slice and place them into a food processor till smooth.
Place a cup of water in a pot and add one packet of jelly. Slowly heat until sugar has melted and take off heat to cool down.
Mix jelly, guavas and condensed milk and pour slowly over biscuits. Place in fridge to set.

Mix 1 cup of cream with half a packet of jelly, whip until cream is whipped. Spread over evenly over tart.

My ma het ook altyd die tert gemaak met n blikkie ingelegde koejawels. Sy het die stroop van die koejawels gekook en die jellie daarin opgelos. Baie lekker
