FRESH CREAM CAKE
- Cake:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup castor sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- ½ cup boiling water
- ½ cup cooking oil
- 1 ¼ cups cake flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
Cream eggs, sugar and vanilla essence.
Mix the oil and boiling water and leave aside.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add the oil mix and dry ingredients alternatively into the egg mixture. Mix all well together.
Bake at 180 ºC for 30 minutes.
- For the topping:
- 250 ml cream
- 1 tablespoon of sugar
- sprinkles of your choice
Mix the cream and sugar and whip until stiff.
Spread on cake and decorate as you wish.
Note:
You can double the mixture for more layers.
