ET’S CRUMPETS
- 250 ml cake flour
- 10 ml baking powder
- 30 ml castor sugar
- pinch of salt
- 1 egg
- 200 ml milk
- 15 ml melted margarine
Sift the dry ingredients and beat the egg, milk and melted butter together and add to dry ingredients.
Beat till smooth and allow to stand for 30 min.
Fry spoonfuls of the batter in a hot oiled pan or on a griddle.
Turn when bubbles appear on surface.
Serve with jam, butter, honey or grated cheese.
