EASY SAMP AND BEAN SOUP
Little bit chilly in the mother city and the wife orders her favorite samp and beans soup.
- samp and beans mix
- soup bones (prefere the marrow one)
- meat of your choice beef, lamb ect.
- 2 onions, chopped
- 3 carrots, grated
- 3 cubes of beef stock
- 2 packets of oxtail soup
Cook samp and beans until soft and then rinse and set aside.
Fry bones and meat in oven till nice and brown just to intense flavor.
Braise onions till brown in colour in the oil that you have created in frying the meat.
Dissolve your beef stock in boiled water and add it to the pot with the onions and grated carrots, add meat, cook for 10 minutes.
Rinse samp and beans again and put it into pot, cook until meat is soft.
Mix the soup powder with a little water and stir into the soup, cooked on low heat till ready.
Add hot water as needed.
Stir regularly to prevent the samp and beans burning on the bottom of pot.
