EASY “MELKKOS”
You can halve the recipe quantities if you want a small batch. This is also nice cold the next day.
- 2 liters milk
- 300 ml cake flour
- 5 ml salt
- 15 ml margarine/butter
- cinnamon sugar to taste
Sift the flour and salt together.
Rub the margarine/butter in to resemble breadcrumbs.
Add the milk to a pot and bring to a boil.
Add the flour to the milk and beat.
Lumps will form but keep stirring well.
When lumpy, cover with lid and simmer for 8 minutes until cooked.
Serve hot with cinnamon sugar.
