DUAPHINOISE POTATOES
- 6 large potatoes, thinly sliced
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 cups milk
- 1 onion, thinly sliced
- 1 tomato, deeseeded and diced
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup Mozzarella cheese, grated
- 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
Put the garlic and milk in a large pot.
Add the potatoes and simmer for 8 minutes.
Lay the potatoes in an oven dish.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Sprinkle with half of both cheeses.
Add another layer of potatoes.
Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Scatter the onions and tomatoes on top.
Pour the remaining milk over everything.
Sprinkle the remainder of the cheese over the top.
Bake until golden brown at 180°C.
Serve with anything you like
