DIANE’S MERINGUES
Hierdie skuimpies is ‘n groot sukses.
- 2 egg whites
- 500 ml castor sugar
- 30 ml white vinegar
- 60 ml boiling water
- 5 ml cream of tartar
- colour gel of your choice
Beat egg white with cream of tartar a little.
Add vinegar and boiling water and beat well.
Add castor sugar spoon by spoon and beat till stiff.
Colour as required.
Place in a pipingbag and pipe on a prepared baking tray.
Bake at 100°C for 1 hour, turned oven off and leave in oven turned off until oven cooled down.
