DENZY’S CRAYFISH CURRY
- crayfish tails
- 4 tablespoons oil
- 2 onions, chopped
- 1 can chopped tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1 punnet mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon garam masalla
- 1 tablespoon ginger
- 1 tablespoon jeera
- 4 cardamons
- 2 tablespoons curry spice
- 2 tablespoons turmeric
- 1 tub fresh cream
- fresh coriander, chopped
Cook crayfish tails in salted water for 10 minutes, clean and take out of shell. Leave aside.
Heat oil in pot, then add chopped onions, braise onions for 2 minutes, add can tomatoes, garlic and all the spices.
Add cup water then let it cook till pot is almost dry.
Add mushrooms with half cup water, simmer for 5 mins.
Add crayfish and cream, let simmer for 10 to 15 mins, add the chopped coriander.
Leave some coriander for garnish.
Enjoy with rice or fresh bread.
