DENZY’S CHICKEN LIVERS WITH RED WINE
- 500 g chicken livers
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 tomatoes, chopped
- 3 cloves
- Worcestershire sauce
- ½ cup red wine
- 2 tablespoons chutney
- 2 tablespoons tomato sauce
- 2 tablespoons fresh rosemary
- 1 tablespoon garlic
- 1 tablespoon curry powder
- salt and pepper
Heat up oil and fry onions till brown, add garlic, curry, tomatoes and cloves, cook till tomatoes is soft.
Add chicken livers, tomato sauce, chutney, Worcestershire sauce, rosemary and red wine. Cook through.
Add salt and pepper for taste.
Garnish with parsley and chives.

I am not a fan of this recipe. The additions of all the spices distracted from the delicate flavour of chicken livers. This will work better with any other bland meat that needs the flavourants. Back to my old tried and tested chicken liver with onion and garlic, salt and pepper.
