DALILA’S EASY PUDIM
The easiest dessert ever – Pudim.
- Make caramel:
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 ml water
- 5 ml lemon juice
Let it simmer until desired caramel colour. Swirl around inside of mould to cover the inside. Set aside.
You should double or triple this next part of the recipe, depending on the size of your mould.
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup eggs *
- 2,5 ml vanilla essense
- lemon rind
Mix above together for no longer than 2 min. Pour into the mould over the caramel.
Bake at 180 ºC in a Bain-marie (dish filled half way up with water) for around 30 min.
But check with a toothpick or wooden skewer. It will come out clean.
Leave as is in mould in fridge for at least 6 hours or overnight.
*Note:
You use the same cup to measure your ingredients. Then keep on adding eggs to a cup until the cup is full might be 6 or might be 5.
Unmould and voila. It’s so LEKKA!
