COCONUT NEST
“I love a recipe that doesn’t take too much ingredients or time.”
- 250 g butter
- ½ cup of castor sugar
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 2½ cups cake flour
- 2 eggs, separated yolks and whites
- coconut
Cream butter and sugar.
Add egg yolks only.
Sift flour and salt and add to mixture and make a soft dough.
Whisk egg whites lightly.
Roll into small balls. Dip in egg whites and roll in coconut.
Top with a cherry.
Bake at 180 °C for 15 minutes.
