CHURROS

  • 60 g butter
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • oil for frying
  • cinnamon sugar to serve

Melt butter, salt, sugar and vanilla essence together in a pot. Once it’s boiled switch off the stove.
Add the flour and mix until a dough forms.
Add the egg and mix.
Pipe the mixture with a nozzle or drop spoonfuls in medium heat oil.
Fry until golden brown.
Drain on a paper towel.
Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar and serve with chocolate sauce and more cinnamon sugar.
