CHOCOLATE BANANA BREAD
Highly recommend this recipe – absolutely delicious!
- 1 cup cake flour
- ½ cup cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 3 large bananas mashed
- ¼ cup melted butter
- ¼ cup oil
- ¾ cup light brown sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup choc chips
Heat oven 180ºC.
Whisk together: flour, cocoa, baking soda and salt – set aside.
Mash bananas – add melted butter and oil and stir until combined.
Stir in brown sugar, egg and vanilla essence.
Stir dry ingredients into wet – do not overmix.
Stir in ¾ cup choc chips.
Pour batter into pan – sprinkle some choc chips over.
Bake for 50 – 65 minutes.
Note:
I put caramel over the top and sprinkled with grated chocolate after it cooled down – not supposed to have anything on top but it made it even more delicious.
