CHOCOLATE AND CARAMEL TART
My version… was very yummy!
- 250 g of butter
- 600 ml double cream
- 3 bars of milk chocolate
- 3 bars of dark chocolate, 70% is possible
- 3 packets Oreo biscuits
- 1 tin of caramel condensed milk
Melt butter and crush the Oreo biscuit till it’s a fine crumb mix.
Melted butter into crumbs and press down into 3 separate pie tins put into fridge and set for 10 mins.
Spoon caramel in bowl and mix with 150 ml of cream, TILL combined but still thick, add to pie crust and return to fridge for 15 mins.
Warm rest of the cream very very slowly on stove top until hot, but not boiling as cream will split and separate, break all 6 bars of chocolate and put in a bowl, pour hot cream over chocolate and leave for a few minute for chocolate to melt, stir but not vigorously till all is combined.
Pour into the 3 pie crusts on top of the caramel and set over night in fridge… decorate as desired.
