CHERRY BANANA BREAD
- 2 cups cake flour
- 1 ½ cups sugar
- ½ cup milk
- ½ cup margarine
- ¼ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 3 mashed bananas
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 10 cherries, cut in half
Cream sugar and margarine.
Add eggs and vanilla and beat well.
Add milk and bicarbonate of soda.
Add dry ingredients and blend all together.
Mix in mashed bananas, cherries and nuts.
Spoon into a prepared baking tin.
Bake for 40 min at 180°C.
For the icing:
Mix ½ a cup of icing sugar with a bit of milk to form a thickish paste.
Drizzle over cake.
