CHEESY GARLIC MINI BREAD LOAFES
- 1 store-bought bread dough
- 3 – 4 garlic cloves, minced (I used store-bought minced garlic)
- cheese of your choice, —Cheddar/Mozzarella/Tussers/Provolone, kept cold in fridge, cut in squares
- butter
- freshly ground salt and black pepper, to taste
Pre-heat the oven to 185 °C.
Use a six loaf square mini loaf bread pan. Smear the sides with butter.
With buttered hands, pinch a small ball of dough, flattened in your palm.
Add a ½ teaspoon minced garlic and top with a square of cheese.
Pinch the sides and top together to seal.
Put the dough in the bread loaf tins with the pinched side at the bottom.
Sparsely grind fresh salt and black pepper on the top.
Let the loaves proof for ± 1 – 1½ hours. Bake 15 – 20 minutes till it is golden brown.
Serve hot!
