CHEESE, TOMATO AND ONION PASTA BAKE
Cheap – tasty – easy.
- 500 g packet macaroni, cooked and drained
- 300 g White Cheddar or Mozarella cheese, grated
- 4 tomatoes, sliced
- 1 onion, sliced or chopped
- 1 cup green onion, sliced or chopped
- 6 eggs
- 400 ml milk
- 5 ml baking powder
- Aromat and Lemon Pepper, to taste
Preheat oven to 200°C.
Spray or grease oven pan (I use my oval pan).
Layer as follows:
Half of macaroni, onions, tomatoes. Season with Aromat and Lemon Pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with half the cheese.
Repeat.
Blend eggs, milk and baking powder together.
Pour over other ingredients making sure to coat everything.
Bake for 30 to 40 min.
When ingredients starts pulling away from sides of pan, it’s usually done.
