Burfee is a rich, creamy sweet dish. It taste heavenly.

  • 500 ml of fresh cream
  • 2 cups of sifted icing sugar
  • 500 g klim powder (instant milk powder)
  • ½ cup of desiccated coconut
  • 2 level teaspoons of cardamom powder

Heat the fresh cream until it starts to bubble. Do not boil it!
Remove from the heat and stir in the sifted icing sugar until smooth.
Add the klim, desiccated coconut and cardamom powder and mix well.
Cool and refrigerate.
Can be piped into small cups or set in a casserole bowl and cut in blocks if desired.
You can decorate with slices almonds, coconut or pistachios. Any thing you prefer.
