  • slices bread (spread with butter if prefer)
  • grated Cheddar cheese
  • fried bacon strips
  • eggs
  • salt and pepper to taste

Use as many slices as you would need for the amount of people you have for breakfast (2 per person).
Add a bit of grated cheese on the bottom slice of bread.
Add fried bacon on top of the cheese.
With a glass or a cookie cutter, press a hole in the second slice of bread and place this slice on top of the bacon.
Break an egg into the hole of the top slice, add salt and pepper to taste and finely sprinkle grated cheese over the top slice.
Place the sandwich on a greased baking sheet and bake the sandwiches in a preheated oven at 175ºC for 20 minutes.
