BRAN MUFFINS

BRAN MUFFINS

Recipe can be used to make a bran loaf. Nuts, raisins or cranberries etc can be used in the mixture too.

  • Dry Ingredients
  • 2 cups raw bran
  • 2 ½ cups nutty wheat
  • 2 ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
  • Wet Ingredients 
  • 2 beaten eggs
  • 1 ½ cups brown sugar or half cup of honey
  • ½ cup of oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 2 cups of milk

Place all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl mix all wet ingredients.
Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Drop 2 heaped tablespoons of mixture in greased muffin/ cupcake pans
Bake at 180 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes.
