BRAN MUFFINS
Recipe can be used to make a bran loaf. Nuts, raisins or cranberries etc can be used in the mixture too.
- Dry Ingredients
- 2 cups raw bran
- 2 ½ cups nutty wheat
- 2 ½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
- Wet Ingredients
- 2 beaten eggs
- 1 ½ cups brown sugar or half cup of honey
- ½ cup of oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 2 cups of milk
Place all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl and mix.
In a separate bowl mix all wet ingredients.
Combine dry and wet ingredients.
Drop 2 heaped tablespoons of mixture in greased muffin/ cupcake pans
Bake at 180 ºC for 15 to 20 minutes.
