BEST YORKSHIRE PUDDING EVER

“Made Yorkshire Puddings today.  They were light and delicious.”

  • 1 cup of plain cake flour
  • 1 cup of milk
  • 1 cup (250 ml) of eggs
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon ice cold water
  • oil for greasing the pan

Heat up the oven to 200ºC and place an oiled 12 cup muffin tin into the oven (tin must be smoking hot).
Beat all the ingredients together in a jug and add ice cold water before putting the batter into the oven.
Pour the batter into hot oiled pan and bake for 15 minutes, turn oven to 180 ºC and bake for a further 20 minutes.
Delicious served with roast beef;  also delicious served with jam or syrup.
